THREE POSITION BILGE PUMP SWITCH PANEL

Wiring Instructions.

The bilge pump can be activated by the panel switch in two ways.

MANUAL: This is a momentary ON switch, which allows the operator to control the operation of the pump by bypassing the float switch. The RED light will show when the switch is depressed to the right. The switch automatically returns (springs back) to OFF when released.

AUTO: This allows the automatic float switch to control the operation of the pump. The switch is pushed to the left when viewed from the front of the panel. The RED light will then show when the float switch is engaged. The light will go out when the water level has dropped.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Cut a 43mm hole (11/16 x 2 5/16) in the dashboard

Wire the positive lead from the battery to the back of the fuse holder.

Connect one lead from the float switch to one of the terminals on the back of the switch.

Connect the other wire from the switch in series with the pump and connect the other terminal on the switch as shown in the diagram.
